SOFTWARE DEVELOPMENT

FURRY SOFTWARE PTY. LTD. was established in 1992, with the release the first of our software applications - SportsKarnival (1992 - 2002).

These applications (swimming, athletics, triathlon, fun runs, cross country, personal best, competition draws), used in many schools & clubs around Australia, were designed for organising and recording sports activities on the Macintosh computer.

In subsequent years we have developed other software solutions in FutureBasic, FileMaker Pro and Userland Frontier.

A recent development is ferBooks - data management for the wholesale book trade.

Much of our other development is in tools for designing websites, including video production.

All software production is undertaken on the Mac OS platform (Furry Software for many of our early years being Apple Consultants). We continue to assist clients with software solutions for the Mac OS.

WEBAUTHORING

In 1998 we branched out into the world of the internet.

Many thousands of webpages later, (and over 10 million page impressions downloaded - mostly from our regional websites) the internet is now a major part of our business.

Our internet marketing and domain management serves many small businesses.

We specialise in website design, hosting, copy writing, graphic design and internet marketing strategies, with clients all over NSW.

In 2000 we added virtual server rentals to our business, delivering up gigabytes of data per month for our clients, and are resellers of domain names for Enetica.

HiMac COMPUTERS

Our many years - over 20 in fact - as users, programmers and developers for the Apple® MacOS came to a logical conclusion in 2002 when we were given the opportunity to acquire the operations of HiMac Computers.

HiMac Computers is now a division of our company, and we are pleased to serve the Southern Highlands and Tablelands as Authorised Apple Solution Resellers.

Our services include hardware and software sales, service, and computer training and support. With our channel partners we are able to offer comprehensive solutions for Mac and mixed OS platforms.
